High eosinophils can indicate parasites

Lab tests for parasites are notoriously inaccurate. There simply aren't tests for every type of parasite + parasites have the ability to evade the immune system, making them undetectable in tests.

High eosinophils are a common lab marker that may indicate parasitic infection. They play a HUGE role in the immune system’s response to parasitic infections. Other blood lab markers that may indicate a parasitic infection are low or high white blood cell count, high hs-CRP, low iron/ferriton issues or anemia, high ferritin and high liver enzymes.
