Lab markers that may indicate parasitic infection

Lab tests for parasites are notoriously inaccurate. There simply aren't tests for every type of parasite + parasites have the ability to evade the immune system, making them undetectable in tests.

There are however some blood lab markers that may indicate a parasitic infection. Check them out...

  • High or low white blood cell count

  • Low iron/ferritin & anemic issues

  • High ferritin levels

  • High eosinophils

  • High hs-CRP

  • High liver enzymes

If you've had any of these abnormal lab markers, let's chat to see if parasite cleansing may make sense!
