Mycotoxins in Coffee

It's not enough to buy organic coffee - you have to make sure it's mycotoxin free. Mycotoxins are toxins coming from fungi and mold and are considered carcinogenic and potentially deadly. Studies have shown that over 90% of green coffee beans are contaminated with mold, as well as almost half of commercially brewed coffees. And that's from cultivation, storage & transportation.... I dare you to look inside your coffee machine or Keurig.

Drinking low quality, mycotoxin-laced coffee regularly can be damaging to your health. It's important to choose brands that are organic, 3rd party tested and specifically state they are mycotoxin free. Otherwise, you can probably bet they are in there.
