May is Lyme Awareness Month 💚


One of the biggest misconceptions is that Lyme can only be contracted from a tick bite.


While ticks are the most well-known source, Lyme bacteria can be transmitted from other insects (like mosquitoes and flies), animals, and even bodily fluids... including from mother to baby in utero/nursing, sexual transmission & blood.


If you’ve been dealing with unexplained symptoms and were told ‘it couldn’t be Lyme’… it might be worth taking a second look 👀
