Several members of Congress (from both major parties) have quietly voted for Section 453, which shields pesticide manufacturers from liability- including Rep Cline (VA-6). If this passes, companies like Bayer could be legally protected even when their toxic products cause serious harm.
It’s worth asking: are they being nudged by chemical, pesticide, pharma, food, or ag industries? If big-money lobbyists aren't driving their votes, what is? We still need to ask: whose interests are we seeing served here, and at what cost to our health?
It’s urgent we act now:
In VA - Call or email Rep. Ben Cline and demand he vote NO on Section 453: DC Office: (202) 225-5431 or visit https://cline.house.gov.
Outside of VA? Visia https://standforhealthfreedom.com/find-your-legislator to find your rep!
Sample message - "Rep. Cline, as your constituent, I strongly urge you to oppose Section 453 of the Appropriations Bill. Legal immunity for pesticide makers endangers public health, removes accountability, and harms our communities. Please protect our right to legal recourse - vote NO."
