Common Sense is Back in the Pyramid šŸ„³šŸ„‘šŸ„¦šŸ˜Ž

Well well well… look who finally caught up šŸ‘€šŸ„¦

After decades of corporate lobbyists whispering sweet nothings into the food pyramid (aka ā€œfear the fatā€ & eat all the refined carbs šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«), common sense and actual science are back in the building.

Props to @seckennedyĀ for year another MAHA win!šŸ™Œ

Because the era of eat less fat and less red meat didn't shrink waistlines, it expanded them.... along with basically all chronic disease.

The new dietary guidelines finally say what many of us already knew:

āž”ļø Prioritize high-quality protein

āž”ļø Don’t fear healthy fats

āž”ļø Eat your plants

āž”ļø Choose whole foods

āž”ļø Skip the ultra-processed junk, refined carbs + sugar

For those of us already living this way, we know that eating whole foods rich in protein and plants directly impacts:

✨ energy

✨ weight

✨ mood

✨ focus

✨ digestion

✨ hormones

✨ basically… everything

Also worth noticing šŸ‘€

🚫 Sweets didn’t make the cut on the new pyramid

šŸ„‘ Oils matter - stick to avocado, olive, or coconut

Healthy proteins and fats weren’t the problem. They were the solution all along.
