Curl up with one of my fave books!

I'm a reader, especially in the summer when I'm getting that vitamin D! These are some of the most inspirational and informative books that I've read over the last several years that have really helped shape our lifestyle.

1. My top fave - Food: What the Heck Should I Eat by Mark Hyman, MD. It was gifted from my homey Mariya Lubenova and I am forever grateful! This book is great for newbies to homeopathy but also very informative for those who aren't. Not only does the book talk about the ramifications of food on your health but it also gets into environmental and political impacts your buying decisions can have. Very powerful!

2. Next up - 9 Steps to Keep the Doctor Away by Dr. Rashid Buttar - ummmm slightly obsessed with him. He is crazy passionate and has been a primary source of info for me throughout the pandemic - you should follow him! This book is awesome - he gets into some areas that aren't talked about often like the impacts LAUGHTER has on your wellness, surprising attributes of water and EMF radiation. And of course he does a deep dive on food, wellness and toxicities. Can't say enough good things about him!

3. How Not to Die by Dr. Michael Gregor - I knew this would be a good book after I saw him speak a few years ago. This book breaks down the top killers in our country... heart disease, lung disease, brain diseases, cancers, diabetes, high blood pressure, suicidal depression and more. He goes into the root causes of each and how to eat for prevention. This is great for people who may feel like their condition is hopeless (Alzheimers, Parkinson's, stage 4 cancer).

4. The Whole Foods Diet by John Mackey (founder of Whole Foods), Dr. Alona Pulde & Dr. Matthew Lederman - This is a killer intro to eating plant-based whole foods. It will take you around the world and examine civilizations with the longest (and healthiest) lifespans and outline their nutrition and lifestyle. And the back has SO MANY awesome recipes!!

I refer to these books often, they are packed with great info. Highly recommend!
