Doctors found tapeworm DNA inside this ‘cancer’

This actually happened... and it was published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Doctors discovered that aggressive “cancer” cells found in a human patient didn’t come from the person at all…

They came from a parasitic tapeworm.

Researchers traced the malignant cells back to Hymenolepis nana (dwarf tapeworm) using genetic testing. The parasite’s cells had mutated, multiplied and invaded human tissue, forming tumor-like masses in the lungs and lymph nodes.

This case challenged the long-held belief that cancer can only originate from human cells and highlighted the powerful connection between parasites, immune suppression and chronic disease.
