Mind Control... by a Parasite? 🦠🤯

Shoutout to my girl Candace O for bringing a little parasite awareness to the mainstream. šŸ˜‚šŸ‘

As wild as it sounds... some parasites don't just affect your gut, they can influence your brain and behavior too.

🦠 Toxoplasma gondii has been linked to changes in dopamine (your "feel-good" neurotransmitter), and studies have found associations with:

• Increased risk-taking

• More impulsive behavior

• Changes in fear and attraction responses

Scientists have even observed similar behavior changes in animals. Infected rodents lose their fear of cats, infected wolves were significantly more likely to leave their pack and become leaders, and infected hyenas took greater risks around lions.

If you've been feeling unusually moody, impulsive, making decisions that don't feel like you, or just feel "off" for no obvious reason... maybe it's worth going down the Toxo rabbit hole.šŸ‡šŸ¦

Knowledge is power... and so is a good parasite cleanse. šŸ˜‰ Click here to learn more.
