But for real tho - balance is a key skill your body uses every day and a strong sign of heart and brain health. Research shows poor balance can predict risks like heart attack, stroke, and dementia, even in otherwise healthy adults.


You can test your balance at home by standing on one leg for 10 seconds or doing the “timed up and go” test. To improve balance, try exercises like heel-to-toe walking, chair squats, tai chi, or ankle strengthening… but you can ditch the heels (or keep them on if you’re feeling extra).😉
