☀️ The largest sunscreen/skin cancer study to date (nearly 470,000 participants) found that people who reported using sunscreen more frequently also had higher rates of every major type of skin cancer:
📈 Invasive melanoma: +292%
📈 Melanoma in situ: +258%
📈 Basal cell carcinoma: +140%
📈 Squamous cell carcinoma: +126%
Benzene (a known human carcinogen) has been found in 27% of major sunscreen products.
☀️ Don't fear the sun. Your body was designed to benefit from it.
Morning sunlight, in particular, helps support your circadian rhythm, hormone production, mood, vitamin D synthesis, and overall health. Instead of avoiding the sun altogether, focus on building healthy sun tolerance, getting regular morning sun exposure, and using common-sense protection when needed rather than relying solely on sunscreen.
When you do need sunscreen, choose a clean brand, and if you tend to burn easily, consider reducing seed oils for a few months and see if you notice a difference in your skin's resilience. Click here to read the study.
