Why Parasite Cleansing Isn’t Safe While Nursing — But Can Be for Kids

I got asked really good question and wanted to share, because I know this confuses a lot of people. Someone asked: Why isn’t parasite cleansing recommended while nursing, but it can be appropriate for children?
Here’s the simple explanation. When parasites die, they release heavy metals and other toxins. That’s why we don’t recommend parasite cleansing while nursing - we don’t want those toxins moving through breast milk and being passed to the baby.
For kids who are showing symptoms of a parasitic infection, cleansing can actually be very helpful. Yes, toxins are still released, but unlike adults, kids usually aren’t dealing with decades of buildup, so their detox load is much more manageable.
That said, detox is never one-size-fits-all. Sometimes it is necessary to alleviate symptoms, but everyone’s toxic burden is different (kids and adults alike) which is why die-off symptoms can vary so much. This is also why working with a practitioner is so important, so detox is done safely and supported properly.
